With the ambient-ish „Home’ Carl shows that he can’t just produce great dancefloor music but also create spacy atmospheres…but with „Dance’ he quickly returns to his core genre. A fast minimalistic beat, combined with a driving arpeggio, atmospheric strings & pads, and the name-giving vocal make for a really catchy track. „Eyes closed’ is a perfect complement to „Dance’, using a similar vocal and groove combined with rave-stabs, creating a more trippy vibe. „Inside’ closes the EP with a toolish groove and dark atmosphere.
