OFF mainstay Oliver Deutschmann returns with a really special track that’s as leftfield as functional, and could be well imagined at one of his Berghain sets – let’s hope those will soon return! The track kicks off with the eponymous ‚Energy‘ vocal sample, and syncopated percussions, builds with energetic hats, to introduce a timeless chord theme. Add to that a heavily reverbed kick and ever-evolving tension curve thanks to a great arrangement, and out comes a perfect track.
